A one day training session, aimed at TWB projects and programme leads, plus others working in the field of health and wellbeing. Aiming to equip participants with better knowledge and understanding of collaborative working, and the benefits and barriers for their projects / organisations. Intended to be of assistance to TWB projects and programmes as they implement their exit strategies from BIG Lottery funding. Of high relevance in current climate of reduced funding and increased public sector contracts. Session involves case studies, practical activities, and tools for collaborative action planning.
The overall aim of the course is to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to improve collaborative working among the organisations you work within Target: Wellbeing, and generally.
By the end of the training you will have better understanding of:
• The policy context which is driving collaborative working
• The benefits and barriers of collaborative working
• Critical success factors involved in collaborative working
• Opportunities for new and deepening collaborations with other Target: Wellbeing projects
• How to develop a collaborative action plan, as part of your funding exit strategy
