The North West Health Brussels Office is continuing its series of training workshops in the North West this March. The next session, in collaboration with TrusTECH, is entitled ‘EU Funding for Health: Practical Advice,’ will include the following:
• A brief recap of current EU health priorities and the FP7 and Community Health programmes
• Examples of North West projects which illustrate the realities of managing an EU project
• Practical advice for successful EU project development and bid writing
• Guidance on how to locate international partners
• Where to find more information and advice if you decide to apply for EU funding
Why?
The EU now presents both challenges and opportunities for health improvement, including opportunities presented through partnerships and projects, co-funded by the European Commission. At a time when health funding is precious, we should consider the options that the European Union offers. The European Commission funds several differing programmes and actions related to health, which NW PCTs, networks, acute trusts and others can benefit from.
Who?
The training workshops are aimed at PCTs, networks and acute trusts from across the North West who have an interest in European working and are interested in applying for European funding for health issues.
