The aim of the conference is to bring together key individuals from the university, NHS organisations, local authorities and other stakeholders with an interest in public health in Manchester. There will be a number of short plenary presentations, but we aim to make the event quite interactive and to have time for discussion and networking. There will be space for participants to display posters or information on their activities, and they will be able to put information in a pack for participants if they wish.

The conference will be jointly hosted by the Institute of Health Sciences and the Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre which brings together the University of Manchester and six NHS organisations.
