'Raising Health - Next Generation Partnerships' is a one day conference which will share best practice approaches to tackling the causes and issues of health inequalities through partnerships, innovative initiatives and social marketing campaigns including the town's own highly successful re:fresh initiative.
The event takes place on 25 February 2010 at Ewood Park in Blackburn and will provide an opportunity for local authorities, primary care trusts and those involved in healthcare and leisure to consider how targets for health inequalities can be met through partnership working and innovative campaigns. The conference will be chaired by North West Tonight presenter Gordon Burns and will feature leading keynote speakers, plenary presentations and interactive workshops.
