Food Futures Intergenerational Cooking Programme
The Food Futures Partnership is inviting expressions of interest from individuals or organisations for two areas of work:
1. To coordinate a year-long intergenerational cooking programme. We have received funding from the Generations Together Programme to develop intergenerational practice through cooking and will be working with 6 community or schools-based projects across Manchester. The aims of the project are to create better understanding between generations, to share learning and knowledge and to develop the cooking skills of the participants.
The deadline for applications is January 15th.
2. In addition, Food Futures is inviting expressions of interest from groups or organisations who would like to run an intergenerational cooking project. We’re particularly interested in applications from the following:
* community and voluntary sector organisations
* secondary schools and youth projects
* sheltered or supported housing units
The deadline for expressions of interest is Monday 1st February. Applications will be assessed by a panel, chaired by the Food Futures Programme Manager.
Please see the attached documents for full details of these two activities.
