Description

The Mental Health Foundation has released a statement that Mindfullness Based Cognitive Therapy cuts relapse rates in half for recurrent depression.

Mindfullness meditation works with Cognitive Therapy because it helps an individual to maintain a high level of awareness of their unhelpful thought patterns, meaning that cognitive therapy tools and processes can be applied more effectively.

In Manchester mindfullness meditation classes are available at an affordable rate at the Manchester Buddhist Centre.
