Involving More Parents and Children Together wins Community Project of the Year Award from Lancashire Adult Learning.

Lancashire Adult Learning held an event March 9th, at the University of Central Lancashire, to recognise the hard work and commitment of local adult students from across the county.

At the event IMPACT, part fo the the FAKT after school club based at Marsden Community Primary School, which is part of the Target: Wellbeing programme in Pendle was awarded the Community Project of the Year Award.

Youth worker Javed Khan, who is in charge of the project, said the award recognises the hard work of all the staff involved in FAKT. The group has been running for nearly four years and Mr Khan hopes to attract more fathers.
