PROJECT UPDATE 2012
- Recent Activ8 sessions have included: weekly walks,
groups sessions with North Lancashire Training Group, Newbridge school (for children with additional needs), bike rides for Men Behaving Dadly, Key to the Door (young mums parenting support group) and school holiday sessions with groups including Mend, Oldham Athletics, and UXO.
- Despite the weather and shorter hours of daylight, new people have continued to access the Activ8 project. A total of 122 new beneficiaries between October and December accessed either cycling or walking activity and the project has achieved 97% of its target, which is a fantastic success!

The project maps current walking and cycling provision and builds on existing walking and cycling activity, helping to establish new groups and run taster sessions.
