Allotments for Community Wellbeing
PROJECTS UPDATE JANUARY 2012:
Funding focussed training sessions have been delivered in North, South and East of the city with participants from over 10 allotment sites involved. Over 95% of participants feel they are more confident in applying for funding as a result of the training
- AMAS have been supported to submit a LEAF funding bid for feasibility studies and education focussed community outreach around renewables and sustainable infrastructure with the aim to develop community involvement further and ensure the sustainability of the existing projects.
An initiative to encourage physical exercise, social interaction, healthy eating and mental stimulation through sustainable allotment use.
