About

The project will bring together all the learning from the Older Peoples Programme, within the context of available research, and develop it into good practice materials.

These tools will be available to all service providers and commissioners within the North West region, and potentially across England. The project also offers events and networking opportunities for providers and stakeholders, the last being a roadshow of regional events showcasing the Programme and materials.

We set up the project because:
It is the means to ensure that the learning from other projects within the Older Peoples Programme does not remain with a few but is disseminated among key stakeholders across the North West, and potentially across England. By disseminating the information more widely, the expectation is that other organisations can ‘learn from our mistakes’ and deliver an effective package of work to reduce health inequalities in their areas.
