PROJECT UPDATE 2012
- Cycling Enabling has submitted applications to BIG Lottery for both the Supporting Change and Impact funds.
- Project doing very well with almost 700 beneficiaries overall.
- Following a successful publicity campaign carried out at a Road Safety Event for Scout and Guide leaders in St.Helens over summer, 15 groups benefited from basic maintenance courses.
- A total of 27 maintenance sessions were carried out with 286 children and young people achieving their ‘Road Safety’ and‘Cyclist’ activity badges.
- Bike storage containers have been located at two sites, to reduce costs, and make the project more financialy sustainable.

Encouraging and enabling cycling amongst targeted groups through cycle refurbishment, confidence building and skills and maintenance training.
