Ellesmere Port

About

On average, the health of people living in Ellesmere Port is worse than people in other parts of western Cheshire. One of our highlights in 2007 was to work with partners to successfully bid for £660,000 from the Target: Well-being programme. The money is being used to fund eight initiatives in the most disadvantaged parts of Ellesmere Port to increase physical activity, encourage healthy eating and improve mental health.

The launch of the Ellesmere Port Programme took place on 26th May 2009 in the Port Arcades Shopping Centre and Market. The day was a great success with lots of activities and displays for local residents.
