Get Up and Go
PROJECT UPDATE 2012
- The project continues to work in the seven most deprived areas of Oldham. Extra Classes have been held, and qualified instructors have been delivering activity at St Mary’s and Thrussle Court to enable more people to access the project.
- A range of partners, organisations and local agencies are being involved – working with the Indian Association, Carers Centre and Aksa Housing to name but a few.
- Over the last quarter the project worked with two disability groups: Cerebral Palsy (Heathbank) and Springhead Community Group - both groups enjoyed and benefited from the sessions enormously!
This project is designed to increase daily physical activity levels within Oldham.
