PROJECT UPDATE JANUARY 2012
- Project completed this quarter, and has accomplished its beneficiary target with BIG. A successful evaluation was undertaken in conjunction with the NWPHO.
- During this quarter, they completed a Sustaining Change funding bid for the BIG Lottery.
- They expanded the project again this year, with a larger plot at Speke Hall, and use of another Polytunnel and Greenhouse, thus enabling them to accommodate more beneficiaries and grow more organic produce.
- Now working in partnership with the National Trust and the Stroke Association, and have received some funding to adapt the project to facilitate the needs of stroke sufferers. They also plan to work more with local school children, providing education programmes for them and expanding our wildlife garden.

A food growing project focused on the over 50s. Located in Garston, this project engages local people in the development of a new community garden.
